I offer motivational speaking and am a performing artist. I have been professionally speaking for over 20 years. I
use creativity through either comedy, performance or a more serious focus to help audiences find inner connection to their own individual qualities that make them unique, different and authentic. I have traveled to many places and had the chance to educate, entertain and empower audiences from youth, to elders and all in between.

I am a native of Cairo, Illinois where my artistic talents and love for helping others is rooted in my upbringing. I am a two-degree alumnus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale and has been in higher education for over 18 years having worked at the Community College and the University levels in Higher Education. I also spent three years working in Social Services.
I currently work at Southern Illinois University Carbondale as the Director of Exploratory Student Advisement and the Center for Learning Support Services. I am also an adjunct instructor for Shawnee Community College and John A. Logan College teaching speech and communication courses.
I have a deep passion for assisting others so their goals and dreams can become realities. If we see it and believe it, we can achieve it. My favorite saying is we must have NU-INNERgy from within to grow and go to places our hearts desire.
If I am given an opportunity to use my gift to touch someone in a positive way through my acting and speaking, I will give it everything I have and keep moving on to touch someone else who just might need it. I want to use it to teach, educate, entertain, enlighten, and show people that we are all alike and we all have drama in our lives. But if we live to see another day, that is the time to find out the answers to our problems and never give up on life.
